Derby Intu Centre Repoma Roof Waterproofing
The Challenge
The existing flat roof has had ongoing leaks and previous patches of felt which have failed and debonded from the substrate. Along with the patches there has been attack from heat and sunlight creating cracking which ultimately encouraged water ingress, along with leaking drains as pictured above. The area of roofing to be waterproofed by using TREMCO REPOMA.
The Action
A total of 200 m² needed to be treated on the project. After preparation of the substrate by traffic film remover and Jet Wash the full TREMCO REPOMA Waterproofing was applied to the roof above Superdrug.
To ensure a good seal we detailed with THIXOTROPIC membrane to address upstands and skirtings ahead of the application of the standard membrane to the main flat roof.

The Solution
Vision Specialist Contracting Ltd. have designed and installed a solution to our client’s problem, removing the issues caused by standing water to the new vehicles being stored in these areas.
