Recoating and Maintenance

One of the advantages of liquid roofing is the ability to recoat and perform maintenance without intensive roof tear-offs. As long as the existing coating is still bonding well, the new coat can be applied over it to refresh waterproofing abilities. We generally recommend recoating every 10-15 years.

Inspect your liquid roof periodically for any signs of damage, cracking or pinholes. Catching issues early allows for quick repairs before leaks form. We offer maintenance packages and can patch any problem areas that arise.

What is Liquid Roofing?

Liquid roofing refers to monolithic, water-based coatings that form a durable, fully bonded waterproofing membrane when applied. The thick, rubberised fluids can adhere to almost any surface and self-level for ease of top coat application. As the liquid cures, it creates a flexible, protective barrier that fully bonds and seals out moisture.

Systems We Offer:

Integritank Liquid Roofing

Integritank® is a rapid-curing structural waterproofing system based on advanced MMA technology from Stirling Lloyd. It’s ideal for large-scale projects including water treatment and storage tanks, silos, and radioactive waste storage, capable of covering 2,000m² per day.

Benefits include:

  • Owners/Specifiers: 100% effective protection, proven track record over 25 years, long service life, and easily repairable.
  • Engineers: Seamless membrane without vulnerable joints, versatile application, and comprehensive QA.
  • Contractors: Rapid, cold spray application, simplified procedures, weather-resistant, and suitable for 7-14-day-old concrete.

The system is backed by Stirling Lloyd’s Quality Assurance Programme and dedicated technical guidance.

Kemper Liquid Roofing System

Kemper System’s liquid-applied membranes provide durable, long-lasting waterproofing for virtually any application and surface. The key advantage is the reinforcement fleece integrated into the resin system. This creates a seamless, flexible and UV-stable membrane able to withstand tears and damage over decades. Suitable applications span wind turbines, mechanical rooms, plazas, roofs, planters, foundations and more. The reinforced resins can be used for new builds and construction, as well as repairs and refurbishment projects.

AlphaGuard PUMA

AlphaGuard PUMA is a unique roofing system that combines polyurethane and methyl methacrylate to create a liquid-applied membrane. It’s perfect for rejuvenating older roofs and providing them with long-lasting, efficient weatherproofing.

Not only can it waterproof existing flat roofs and structural roof decks, but it’s also great for new build projects or full roof replacements.

Whether it’s for public or private sector buildings – from residential housing and schools to government buildings and commercial properties – AlphaGuard PUMA is an excellent choice.

The system is known for its quick curing, even in cold climates, thanks to its fast-activating catalyst. It provides a seamless finish with durability that’s been certified to last up to 25 years. It can be applied straight away to most roof substrates without needing a primer, making it an easy job with a brush or roller.

Plus, it doesn’t shrink, it’s flame-free, works in a huge range of temperatures (from 0 to +30 degrees Celsius), and can be used for both cold and warm roof applications.
